Our Mission

Referral.Codes exists for one simple reason: to help crypto users find the tools and platforms that actually work.

The crypto space moves fast. New exchanges launch. Payment cards get better. Referral programs change. But one thing stays constant: users deserve honest, practical information without the hype.

We built Referral.codes to fill that gap. We review crypto exchanges, compare payment cards, break down referral programs, and create guides for real traders—not theoretical investors.

Every article here is written from hands-on experience. We don’t just read documentation. We test these platforms ourselves. We use the cards. We examine the fees. We experience the support. Then we tell you what we actually found—the good, the bad, and the fees.

Our Story: How Referral.codes Started

This site started from frustration.

I’ve been trading crypto since 2020. Over the years, I’ve tested dozens of exchanges, tried multiple payment cards, and compared countless platforms looking for the best tools. What I noticed: most online reviews were either outdated, overly promotional, or written by people who’d never actually used the products.

I wanted resources I could trust. Real testing. Honest limitations. Actual fee structures.

So I started documenting my own testing. Which exchange had the fastest withdrawal times? How long did it actually take to get a crypto card? Which platforms offered real value, and which were just marketing hype? I began sharing these findings with friends and traders I knew.

The feedback was immediate: “This is what I’ve been looking for.” “Why doesn’t more content like this exist?” “Finally someone just telling the truth.”

That’s when Referral.Codes was born. The mission: create genuinely helpful content for crypto users, powered by real testing and real experience.

Today, we cover crypto exchanges, payment cards, referral programs, and trading guides. Every article starts with the same principle: Would I recommend this based on my actual experience?

What We Stand For

Honesty Above Everything

We don’t hide drawbacks. If a platform has high fees, we say so. If support is slow, we report it. If a card only works in certain countries, we’re upfront about the limitation. You deserve complete information, not cherry-picked benefits.

Real Testing, Not Assumptions

We test the platforms we review. We create accounts, make transactions, and experience the actual user journey. We don’t write about features we haven’t tried or fees we haven’t paid. If we didn’t test something, we say so.

Transparent About Incentives

Yes, many platforms offer referral bonuses for recommendations. We disclose this upfront. Our job is to tell you if a platform is worth using, not just whether the referral payout is generous. Your trust is more valuable than any commission.

Practical Perspective

We write from the user’s point of view. What actually matters to someone trying to use a crypto exchange or spend their holdings on a payment card? That’s what we cover. We skip the technical deep-dives that don’t affect real usage.

How We Test Platforms

1. Hands-On Experience

We create accounts and use the platforms ourselves. No simulations. No assumptions. We:

  • Complete the sign-up and KYC process (document the time and difficulty)
  • Fund accounts and make actual transactions
  • Test features we plan to review
  • Document fees paid and conversion rates
  • Contact customer support (and measure response times)
  • Track ongoing updates and changes

2. Documentation and Data

During testing, we track everything. Transaction times. Fees charged. Support response duration. Feature usability. We collect actual numbers, not estimates. This data becomes the foundation of every review we publish.

3. Cross-Verification

We verify official information against our experience. We check current fee structures on the platform’s official website. We read recent Reddit threads to see what other users report. We compare our findings against official documentation to ensure accuracy.

4. Limitations & Gaps

We acknowledge what we didn’t test. If we focused on spot trading, we say so (we don’t pretend to be experts on margin trading). If we couldn’t verify every feature, we’re honest about it. This transparency actually builds trust.

5. Regular Updates

Crypto platforms change frequently. We update our content annually or whenever major changes occur. Every article includes an “Last updated” date so you know how current the information is.

Who We Are

A Team of Active Traders

Referral.codes is created by people who actively use the platforms we review. We’re not crypto journalists or academics. We’re traders, developers, and users who care about quality information.

Neil – Founder and primary author. Active crypto trader since 2020. Has tested 10+ exchanges and 9+ payment cards. Focuses on practical guides and detailed reviews. Based in a multi-region setup to test global availability.

Our background means our perspective is different from traditional tech writers. We understand trader pain points because we experience them ourselves. We know what “cheap withdrawal fees” actually means to someone moving funds daily. We’ve felt the frustration of slow customer support.

Diverse Geographic Testing

We test platforms from different regions to provide honest regional availability information. Some exchanges have different fees by country. We document this so you can make informed decisions based on where you actually live and trade.

Affiliate & Referral Disclosure

Full transparency: Referral.codes is powered by affiliate and referral relationships with many platforms we review.

Here’s how it works: When we recommend a platform and you use our referral link, we may receive a commission or bonus. This doesn’t change our review—we recommend platforms we genuinely believe are good. But you deserve to know how we’re funded.

Our Commitment

  • Honest regardless of commission: We review platforms fairly
  • Clear disclosure: Every article explicitly states if referral links are present
  • You benefit too: Our referral links often include bonus offers that benefit you
  • Your choice: You can always visit platforms directly if you prefer not to use our links
  • No hidden incentives: We never promote a platform purely for the referral payout

Bottom line: Our referral relationships fund this site and keep content free. They don’t determine what we review or how we review it.—

Our Values in Practice

We know trust is earned, not given. That’s why every article on this site includes:

  • Real experience: “I tested…” “I paid…” not “supposedly” or “allegedly”
  • Honest limitations: “I didn’t test…” “I can’t verify…” when appropriate
  • Specific data: Actual fees, timeframes, and numbers—never vague claims
  • Updated dates: “Last updated” so you know how current the info is
  • Disclosure: Referral links and affiliate relationships clearly noted

The Bottom Line

Referral.Codes exists because crypto users deserve better information. Information that’s honest. Information that’s practical. Information from people who actually use these platforms.

We’re not here to promote hype or chase commissions. We’re here to help you make better decisions about the tools you use to trade, spend, and manage crypto.

If we’ve done that, we’ve done our job.

Thanks for being here.
